Guided Dreamwork for Children
What if your child's imagination and dreams could transform their behaviour, focus, and confidence?

What is Guided Dreamwork?
Children don’t naturally process their experiences through words. Their inner world lives in sensations, images, movement, and play. When we ask them to talk about it, we’re often asking them to translate something they don’t yet have words for.
How do we reach them to help them move through challenges?
By using their natural language —the language of imagination and awake dreaming!
In my Guided Dreamwork sessions, I use this principle to allow children to show us what is happening inside without pressure, interrogation, and needing to get it right.
Guided Dreamwork connects children to the language of the body and teaches them how to read and translate its signals - it really is a simple somatic practice that turns sensations and feelings into meaning.
Applying this technique increases your child’s confidence and self awareness, a sense of agency and helps them thrive.

"T was really quite blown away by the session last time, she said it was so helpful. I’m really noticing how much she’s integrating what you’re teaching her and yeah I can see her using it and that it is really really feeding her. It’s really feeding an interest that she has and allowing her to get to know her own system. I’m so grateful."

— yoga inspired mentoring
Samara has worked with my six year old daughter who has an ASD diagnosis for the last 18 month and my little one finds her calming. Samara has managed to get Paige to participate in activities. I have every confidence in Samara as a teacher and would highly recommend her to the other parents. She has been so supportive because; although these sessions are for my daughter, she explains things to me and I have used some of her techniques at home which I feel has been rewarding for both my daughter and I.

— children’s yoga class
All the kids loved it. I asked them at the end what was their favourite thing today and they all chose yoga. Roma even said that she wanted to become a yoga teacher and asked if that was your career and what she needed to do to become a yoga teacher. She said that you have been very nice and wanted you to come again next week. I was extremely surprised about her being so excited about something. This is the first time she actually loved an activity!
Also, all the staff said that the session had been very funny and appropriated to their needs.

— DreamBirth Imagery
I have been practising imagery and visualisation with Samara for the last four years .
Samara’s work supported me through very difficult times including a miscarriage at the beginning of the second trimester which was a deeply painful experience. This practice has had a profound effect on my ability to process and move on from this trauma.
Imagery has also assisted me in making important decisions and has rejuvenated me in times of stress and anxiety and has brought me great joy over the years.
Samara is a gifted healer and holder of safe space. She shows up in her entirety with a pure intension to support and serve.
Thank you for all that you do and all that you are.
